Submit Abstract (Oral/Poster)

Poster session

Now Accepting Late Breaking Posters Until June 15

Your abstract should describe work that is new, significant and relevant to the isotope scientific and business community. Abstracts on topical reviews and industry overviews should be submitted where appropriate. If you plan to present or submit an oral presentation or poster at the conference, please follow these steps (further described below):

  1. Establish an ANS web account
  2. Review and follow the Abstract Requirements
  3. Submit and manage your abstract via the ANS Abstract Submission and Review System.

Step 1. Establish an ANS Web Account

You will submit and manage your abstract through a personal ANS web account maintained by our host organization. All communications by conference officials and reviewers about your abstract, manuscript and the review process will take place via your account. Accounts will remain valid for several months after the conference.

You may already have an account if you have participated in past ANS meetings, as an author or otherwise. If you are a new user, you will need to create an account.

Step 2. Review and Follow the Abstract Requirements

After creating your ANS web account, or logging in, you will see a guided series of steps for submitting your abstract using the “My Abstracts“ tool. You are required to use the 8ICI Abstract Template (download). The length of your abstract should be one full page, including figures or tables. Introduce the purpose of the work, highlight the new and significant components of the work, and discuss the relevance of the results. Any references must be closely related published works.

Step 3. Submit and Manage Your Abstract via the ANS Abstract Submission and Review System

Submit your abstract (as an Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file or Microsoft Word document) via the 8ICI/ANS Electronic Paper Submission and Review System. You can enter and maintain your abstract as a draft until the submission deadline. However, after the deadline, all entered abstracts will be regarded as final and reviewed for acceptance. Incomplete information may lead to rejection.

Your accepted abstract will be published in the 8th ICI (2014) Book of Abstracts.

Please let us know if you need help with any part of the abstract submission process.
